Thank you for 2025
Dear Bolu,
This is my last letter of the year, and I don’t have much else to say besides thank you. Thank you!
It’s not been the most productive year of writing these letters. It took a long time to get going. In February, I wrote I Swear and I swore to write more frequently, but that didn’t happen. I had ideas but they were difficult to get out. I started draft after draft, but that was all they were.
Then came September, an intense month. It bled into October—into The Man, my second letter of the year. I’ve been on schedule since, usually with some help and a few close shaves. Okaay, they were all close shaves (shhhhh). In the new year, I will reduce the frequency of close shaves, and do well to publish earlier in the day. So help me, God. I did have a lot of fun with Rẹ̀mílẹ́kún and Irun Orí. I hope you did, too.
